Once you’ve signed up, your 14-day trial period begins. No payment is requested at this point. Payment is made after the trial ends according to the plan that you have selected. Before your trial ends, you’ll receive a notification giving you the option to convert to a paid plan or continue your free use with limited functionalities.

After your trial ends you still have full access to your account’s information and the results of the analyses you performed during your trial. However, you won’t be able to upload new data or start any new analysis.

No. Your work is safe in our system and will be accessible by you. If, for technical reasons, we need to remove your expired account we will send you a notification email one month in advance.

That depends on the amount of data uploaded. In any case you can see the progress of the analysis in the application. When the analysis has finished you will be notified in the dashboard.

Yes, it is normal to take long with such big datasets. Especially, if is is a multi-class problem.

JADBio performs AutoML using a predefined set of ML algorithms arranged in a pipeline. Particularly for modeling it automatically runs, Ridge Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, SVMs and Random Forests. Very soon we will be adding to this list: boosting trees (XGboost) and artificial neural networks (not Deep Learning per se).

Not yet, but very soon we will be able to support the use of pre-trained networks for modeling image data.

JADBio comes with the JAD Use Cases project pre-installed. You can use the datasets from the JAD Use Cases project to create your own project and subsequent analysis.

JADBio handles biomedical data, both clinical and molecular data.

Molecular data can be:

• sequencing data measured through PCR, microarray or NGS technologies, that is,
  • sequence data, like the referred short amplicon data, typically used for studying the DNA structure (e.g. SNP identification, phylogenetics, etc)
  • omic data (e.g. genomic, proteomic, etc.) typically used for learning how a biological system functions
• cytometry data
  • microscopy images (soon to be available though the JADBio API)
  • single cell protein data like flow and mass cytometry

JADBio can work with any data that are inserted in tabular format. It does not care if the features are amplicons, genes, proteins, etc or whether the samples are patients or single cells.

It can handle datasets with feature sizes, up to 1M and sample sizes, from 15 to 200K. We also have developed new algorithms that scale up to millions of samples/variables that we plan to include in one of our future platform releases.

JADBio is able to analyse any type of clinical or preprocessed molecular data and combinations thereof. Currently, the sample size can range from 15 to 200K samples while the number of variables can be up to 1 Million.

JADBio can handle multi-class, regression and survival outcomes beyond the binary ones. It can also handle single-cell data.

JADBio performs basic preprocessing; that is, data normalization/standardization, constant variable removal and missing value imputation. At the moment, no other type of data preprocessing is possible through our GUI such as batch effect removal, data transformations (i.e. log, voom, M values, etc) or others.

You can upgrade your plan at any time by choosing a plan with more features or adding more users. To change your plan, simply go into the Profile Settings section on the dashboard click on the Billing option. From there, click on ‘change plan’, pick the desired plan, and enjoy! For now you cannot downgrade or cancel but do contact us at licenses@jadbio.com if you need assistance.

No, after your free 14 days you will get the option either to continue on a paid plan or continue for free but with limited functionalities. Regular billing begins only after you have purchased a plan.
